The junta accused some well-known NLD MPs and party members of being linked to the violence at its 11 June press conference, claiming that they are helping young protesters to attend military training in ethnic armed organizations-controlled areas and funding them to carry out bombings in cities. Former Chin State Minister Salai Isaac Khen has also been accused of being in charge of the NUG's Western Military Command. According to a junta-controlled newspaper, the junta troops have arrested more than 100 people in connection with arson attacks and the killings and more than 500 for possessing of illegal firearms and bombs and bombers and seized about 50 small firearms and 5947 homemade bombs.

The junta also accused the KIA (Kachin), KNU (Karen) and KNPP (Karenni) of providing military training to young people. Aerial images of some buildings in the KIA Brigade 3 area, alleged to be a training site, were also released yesterday. The junta also aired videos of young men confessing. However, netizens responded that these confessions are based on lies and it was clear from their gestures that they had been forcibly testified.

The junta troops have raided on a number of political parties, including ethnic ones, Myanmar Now reported. Parties’ officials were questioned about their sources of income and whether they are related to the CRPH, NUG, and PDF, which are designated as terrorist organizations by the junta. At the same time, NLD MPs who won the 2020 election are being pursued and abducted.

Local civil society organizations told the BBC that up to 50 people, including infants, died and tens of thousands displaced in Karenni State since the coup. The junta troops are arresting aid workers, destroying aids for IDPs, and blocking roads in Karenni State, local media reported.

In Kaly, two more people were killed by Covid-19 today, bringing the death toll to around 30. As of 11 June, there are 481 cases and 12 deaths in Chin State alone, according to Chin World. Even though more and more people are affected with Covid-19, 29 fever clinics built under the NLD administration have been temporarily closed since the coup, according to the BBC. Netizens are criticizing the current facilities of the Covid patient centre by comparing with those set up under the NLD.

Some activists launched a campaign called #black4Rohingya on social media in support of the Rohingya community. Despite the NUG's announcement that it is preparing for the repatriation of the Rohingya and citizenship rights, the coup leader claimed that there is no Rohingya in the country during his interview with Hong Kong based media, and many Rakhine groups also opposed NUG's policy on Rohingya.

Myanmar dispora communities protested in many major cities on 11 and 12 June, coinciding with a meeting of G7 in the UK. G7 leaders have stated that they condemn the coup, recall ASEAN’s central role, and commit neither aid nor arms sales will benefit the military. At the same time, the junta is reportedly preparing to expand economic ties with Russia, which is one of its main suppliers of arms.
