Rumors have been circulating in the diplomatic community that the NUG has a plot to assassinate those linked to the junta. A peace broker under former General Thein Sein's administration wrote a letter to a diplomat on 8 November stating that he and some of his colleagues are on the “hit list” and being targeted by the NUG’s hit squad operating in Yangon, according to Mratt Kyaw Thu, a freelance journalist.

According to his accusation, the NUG/PDFs killed about 200 civilians in October alone, and the NUG’s hit list contains names of politicians, businessmen, and celebrities, including himself. The NUG officials responded through the media that the allegations are baseless and that those close to the junta are trying to tarnish the image of the NUG, which has grown in support in the international community.

According to the Chinland Defense Force - Kalay Kabaw Gangaw (CDM Siyin), a 27-year-old woman, who recently gave birth, was raped by three junta troops in Aklui khua village, Tedim Township, Chin State on the night of 11 November. The junta troops also beat up her husband and took valuables from their house. In addition, on 7 November, a 62-year-old Kachin woman was also raped by a junta troop in Kutkai Township, northern Shan State. The junta admitted that the incident took place due to undeniable evidences, and that the perpetrator would be prosecuted, accourding to the RFA.

NUG's Ministry of Education announced on 15 November that it will not recognize the results of the matriculation examination held under the junta. Mizzima reports that the junta arrested a deputy director at the president's office on 11 November for allegedly having connection with 88 Generation student leader Jimmy (aka Kyaw Min Yu) who were arrested on 23 October.

On November 13, the junta troops pretending to be PDF members stormed and set a PDF camp on fire in Wetlet Township, Sagaing region, according to Myanmar Now. A KIA spokesperson confirmed to 74 Media that its troops seized a junta base in Hpakant Township, Kachin State. The KIA carried out a coordinated attacks on three bases that have more than 100 junta troops. The CDF-Paletwa claims that more than 10 soldiers were killed in its first ambush of military convoy en route from Matupi to Sami in Chin State.

On 13 November, joint force of seven PDFs sezied a police station in Yezakyo Township, Magway. According the NUG's Yangon Regional Command, its members ambushed a military vehicle in Kawhmu Township, killing 11 troops on the night of 12 November. On 15 November, the PDF launched another coordinated attacks on traffic police and a military checkpoint in Thanlyin Township, killing about five troops and injuring some civilians. According to the NUG's Yangon Regional Command, it carried out 99 strikes and 256 bomb attacks from September to October in Yangon.

Yohei Sasakawa, chairperson of the Nippon Foundation, Japan's special envoy to Myanmar, met with the coup leader in Naypyidaw on 13 November, according to the junta’s newspaper. On 15 November, he met with Arakan Army’s leaders via online and called for a ceasefire in Rakhine, Western News reported. On 14 November, Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai met with a coup leader in Naypyidaw. Details of his trip is not reported. American journalist Daniel Fenster, who was sentenced to 11 year in prison, was released and deported on 15 November after spending more than five months in Insein Prison, an official of Frontier Myanmar magazine confirmed to Myanmar Now.
